![]() ![]() In 1Blocker X, your custom rules are inside their own extension. In the new 1Blocker X, our built-in rules are in separate extensions and your custom rules cannot affect them. Custom rules won’t break all blockingĪnother common issue that our old app had was that when Safari can’t compile your custom rules (because of incorrect syntax or format), it would break all blocking. Partial whitelist is coming soon in a future update. So in the example above, we would need to create “ignore-previous” rules for and add them only to “Block Ads” and “Block Comments” extensions. So it’s not possible to ignore only some of the previous rules in a single extension.īut having multiple extensions, we can now create “ignore-previous” rules for those extensions that only need to be disabled. Apple’s whitelist rules are called “ignore previous rules”. We couldn’t implement this feature in the old app because it had only one extension. It’s not possible to do this using our old app. What is a partial whitelist? Let’s say, you open and want to keep blocking trackers but unblock ads and comments on that site. One of the most requested features is partial whitelist. Benefits of Multiple Content Blocker Extensionsīesides better content blocking, there are many other benefits of having multiple extensions. No other native Safari content blocker in the App Store is as powerful as 1Blocker X. I’m proud to say that 1Blocker X is able to contain up to 350K rules now thanks to its seven new extensions. It took me six months to move from a single extension to seven independent content blocker extensions, while still keeping the advanced customizability our app provided. However, that requires rewriting the app to handle all these new extensions. The only solution to that problem is to create multiple extensions within 1Blocker that independently manage blocking in Safari. ![]() We wanted to block more unwanted content and keep adding more features, but were frustrated by the limit of 50K rules. Apple set the limit at 50K rules, and we were already at 49K. Soon after releasing 1Blocker in 2015 and adding more features (Whitelist, Hide Elements, Make HTTPS, iCloud sync, etc.) and extending our rule sets, we found out that we are about to hit the limit of total number of rules allowed for a Safari content blocker extension. Get 1Blocker X now What’s new in 1Blocker X? Multiple Extensions If you liked the old app, I think you’ll definitely like the new one even better. It’s hard to beat that title and make the app even better, but the X takes the legacy of 1Blocker to a whole new level. 1Blocker has already set a high standard and was named as the best ad blocker for iPhone. We are proud to finally present you the new version of our app, which took us over six months to make. ![]() ![]() ![]() The answer I personally would grasp from the mail you cite is: TibetDoc has a special way of handling fonts, that makes it incompatible with OpenOffice (as well as with NeoOffice). Leo, is it correct, your question is: why you can't use NeoOffice for the purposes you wanted to use it for in connection with that Application (? is it one?) called Tibet Doc? If you have a question regarding NeoOffice, please clarify. I don't understand why your post was posted to the NeoOffice support forum as I don't see any question about NeoOffice. Therefore, we do not support nor recommend Open Office. We have investigated Open Office as a potential solution. The assignment of fonts and characters is controlled in *all* of the programs internally. Perhaps we will make it available as a single, cross-platform solution later. We make this available for the Mac platform at the moment. Secondly, we have a version of TibetD Reader that has been coded for the Macintosh and which will run on Windows and Unix/Linux. Here are five fairly easy steps, with instructions, on how to replace or install a toilet wax ring. How to Replace the Wax Ring on Your Toilet If the toilet flange is lower than 1/4 inch below the flooring use an extra-thick wax ring. If the toilet flange is above, even or up to 1/4 inch below the flooring, use a standard wax ring. Pro Tip: Check the flange height in relation to your flooring. Here are our affiliate links to where you can purchase our recommended toilet wax ring and flange. Just by lifting the toilet, you’re creating a possible leak from the seal. Remember, even if the problem is the flange (not the wax seal), you should purchase and replace the wax seal. PRO TIP: You might also need to purchase a new flange, the piece that connects the toilet to the floor. You can pay more of course, but there’s no need in most cases. Having said that, you shouldn’t have to spend more than $5 to $10. Prices vary depending on quality, size, location (big city vs rural town), and the brand. A tell-tale sign can come from water damage on the ceiling of the room below your toilet. If the problem has been going on for a while, check the floor for warping. Water collecting around the base of your toilet is probably the most common indicator. If the flange needs to be replaced, you also need to replace the wax seal. Is your toilet wobbly? You may need to replace the anchor flange (see diagram above - it anchors the toilet to the floor). ![]() Lifting the toilet will break the seal if the wax is old then it may not reseal. If you have to remove your toilet for any reason, including for a remodel, you should replace the wax ring. Here are some clues that it’s time to replace or at least be suspicious: How do you know when it’s time for a toilet wax ring install? It’s not like you can see it or hear it. It creates a watertight seal with the sewer drain so that water does not leak underneath or onto your floors and cause extensive water damage. The wax ring is hidden underneath your toilet. When installed correctly, the well-sealed toilet will keep you from having to replace your floor due to water damage. ![]() The seal’s sole purpose is to prevent leaking from where the toilet connects to the sewer. But it looks just like it sounds: it’s a piece of wax, shaped like a ring or a donut. Because it’s connected to the drainpipe, you can’t see it unless you disconnect your toilet. What is a Toilet Wax Ring?Įvery toilet has a wax ring - also called a toilet bowl gasket or wax seal - that forms a watertight seal between your toilet and the sewer pipe. And a toilet wax ring install with this inexpensive part will save you from having to eventually replace an expensive floor. If you see water leaking onto the floor from the bottom edges of your toilet, you should learn how to replace your toilet wax ring. ![]() ![]() At a more basic level, GHS also aims to provide a structure for countries that do not yet have a classification and labelling system. I’m glad that I was able to help add to the app and I’m excited to see future updates!ĪThanks for this idea.Hi all, new to the forum and have been tasked with looking after my girlfriends mini cooper (2001). It would be a great new feature since it’s quicker taking photos on our phone camera them on locket. Sometimes there are moments that I want to share on locket but I dont have time to open up to the locket app to snap a picture. I think it would be very cool if we could upload pictures directly from the phones camera roll to the widget. We have been using it since late January and it’s been really cool to see how it’s evolved since then! I love that the developers actually listen to the suggestions in reviews to make the app better! I also love that I can see pictures of my friends and family and what they're doing throughout the day and start conversarion over it! I used to have many more suggestions but they were already added to the app so now I only have one. I love this app!! I saw an add for it on TikTok and downloaded it to use with my parents, my grandma, and my best friend. i’d love to see this replicated on locket! if that was the case, i could cycle through the photos i missed without clicking on the widget itself! just a fun feature idea for an already incredibly fun app :D i know you can scroll on some widgets (like widgetsmith) to reveal another photo / widget in the same place. one more suggestion, though i’m unsure how feasible it may be. i’m also echoing the sentiment of some other reviewers when i say that i’d love to get another widget for another group! so like group #1 and group #2, and so on- i don’t have a need for a widget of one “best friend” or one “crush,” i would instead love to showcase my friend groups. i also have SO much respect for the developers and i see that locket is always responding to reviews and taking our words into account, thank y’all! as for the app, i will say that it sometimes delays- sometimes it won’t show any of the most recent unless you click into the app and then the widget “refreshes”. I love this app and i adore its purpose □ it’s amazing to see a new photo of my friends/what they’re seeing each time i unlock my phone! it’s been even greater now that i can add more than 5 and 10 friends. ![]() Mercury, Apollo, whatever, that were seldom seen on any instrument other than stencil drums. ![]() They are a stencil kit, as others have pointed out, but the brand is unusual, and not just a common stencil name that would be that of a retailer or made up by a distributor. I think that what you have there is indeed a hidden gem. So, I would say to the OP: what you have here is a MIJ stencil kit. Phil Collins played concert toms for years. Concert toms aren't for everyone, but some like them. If OP likes the sound, he's entitled to like it. You basically have a head tensioned on a round frame. Therefore, the shells don't have as much effect on the sound as double headed toms. Keep in mind Yamaha's process, beginning in the late 70's with their Air Seal System, made higher quality shells and better fit and finish than what we have here.Īs far as the sound of OP's kit, let's not forget that some of the toms are concert toms. Anton Fig played one on Letterman for years. They are inner and outer birch, with "Phillipene Mahogany' in the middle, sort of how OP's kick looks. I have a 1980's Yamaha Tour kit which was a very highly regarded line. If that makes them happy, so be it, and there is nothing wrong with it. If I came across a kit like this, I'd probably be interested as well. At the same time, the OP has every right to love these drums and be interested in discovering whatever info he can find out about them. So, let's give some credit and say maybe Tama used some better quality hardware on these, vs the standard stencil kit. ![]() The OP has stated the drums are heavy and the hardware seems strong. Once again - its Luan sandwiched in between some other wood species. As Steve stated, the kick looks like it has darker plies in between the inner an outer plies. Most of the Luan shelled stencil kits had some splintering and often wood filler in spots, even brand new drums. Heck, even Yamaha calls it 'Phillipene Mahogany.' Its a fancy term for cheap wood. Some call it Mahogany (not to be confused with real African Mahogany, like Pearl uses on their higher end stuff). That's 100% what this is, as some of the guys have stated. This was the height of the MIJ stencil kit phenomenon. I started drumming in the 60's as a young boy. The end results can be debated.Īs far as I'm concerned, there is absolutely no debate as to what these are. Whereas the other badged drum opted for no sanding and more spray etc. TAMA would do a couple steps extra, maybe run a quick pass over their straight grain mahogany inner-most ply so they don't have to use as much spray to fill in the grain etc. The inner-most ply on the BD not being straight grained is considered more aesthetically pleasing and was saved from the spray coating, which wouldn't be considered 'consistent' in the scheme of the build. The bass drum looks to have a center(ish) ply of mahogany species, judging from the colour. ![]() They spray(ed) straight grain inner plys b/c its easier than finishing (sanding etc), the spray (whatever they choose to use) is primarily done to fill in the grain for aesthetic reasons, any perceived sound difference from the spray is just added marketing drivel. ![]() Its a mahogany species for sure, the grain is straight. The plys look to be the same material on the tom, tho they look staggered in the lay up, you can clearly see this in the pic below, fibers running horizontal and then vertical. Not exactly sure what you mean by consistent(?). ![]() |
